MRI
This type of imaging is noninvasive and uses no radiation, but it can detect problems in all of your soft tissue, including your muscles, ligaments, tendons, cartilage, spinal discs, blood vessels, organs, and more. MRIs can help us find cancer, brain injuries, MS, bone infections, joint damage, heart disease, and more.

This type of imaging allows us to view the inside of the body in 3D, including your bones, organs, and other tissues. It takes multiple X-Ray images from a variety of angles to create cross-sectional images, allowing us to see more in-depth than a standard X-Ray. We begin with X-rays to identify injuries sustained to bones or joints, as well as injuries that need urgent attention.
MRIs allow us to go deeper than the initial X-ray, providing a 3D view of your body’s soft tissue structures. An X-ray cannot determine if soft tissue damage has occurred, so an MRI is used for all injuries are properly diagnosed.

A fluoroscopy is an imaging machine that shows a continuous X-ray image of the body in real time, which allows your doctor to determine if your bones are in their proper positions. This machine can also be used while your body is in motion to determine if your joints are functioning properly.
